Key Objective of Role

based in our PH office in Mandaluyong City, the Business Unit Head – OJBI is a pivotal role in helping OJBI define and deliver its long-term vision and growth ambitions by:

Lead and manage total country operations, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving achievement of business performance metrics.Develop and implement strategies for the OJBI in accordance with organizational directions and goals.Proactively evaluate and understand market needs vis a vis products and services offered, ensuring that our offerings are competitive and ahead of industry requirements, allowing us to provide amazing service resulting to customer loyalty.Build and drive a team of motivated individuals who are committed towards organizational purpose and goals, infusing in them the values and culture of SEEK Asia.Ensure smooth teamwork between local teams, regional counterparts and inter-unit partners, creating a culture of collaboration and excellence in the process.

The Team

You will work closely with: 

The JS Country Manager, OJBI Sales Head-OIC, Customer Support Team and Asst Web Development Manager.Department Heads of local support groups from Marketing, Finance and HR. Regional partners such as the Product and Software Services Teams.

Skills, Experience and Competencies 

The successful candidate will have:

A strong and broad business experience with exposure to different business functions. Excellent business acumen, P&L skills, creativity, analytical and problem skills are required for this role. Ability to formulate and implement business strategies are necessary as well.Mature communication and leadership skills, possessing a strong ability to manage cross-functional teams, both locally and regionally, motivating them towards excellent delivery of the projects and initiatives. Must also possess strong influence towards stakeholders, subordinates and co-leaders.Experience in establishing/working for startups is preferred, as well as experience working for a consulting firm. Thrives in scenarios where there is high level of ambiguity. Work experience in an online company is also preferred.Must share our passion towards our purpose of helping others improve their lives through the careers we provide, driven to take the organization to the next level of success.

Other Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.Required skill(s): operations management, people management, business development and planning, strategic and business planning, marketing, Project Management And Administration.At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Preferably CEO/SVP/AVP/VP/Directors specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent.Full-Time position(s) available.
