As we scale, we need more specialised IT experts to evolve our technology and business across a broad range of areas. Our IT experts play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business. This exciting opportunity will have you responsible for maintaining a high level of operational patch management and compliance including the management and administration of IT technology platforms and solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for critical infrastructure systems; these include but not limited to:
• Provisioning and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers
• Assist with the administration and patching of endpoint devices
• Monitor network and system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Administration of Active Directory and Azure AD
• Support and administration of Office 365
• Support and administration of VMware IaaS platform
• Maintenance and testing of backups
• Troubleshooting and resolution of escalated tickets from Service Desk
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation
• Provision and support of third-party SaaS and PaaS systems
• Assist with technology mergers and de-mergers
• Work closely with the Security team to remediate security incidents
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• 3 – 5 years’ experience performing Windows Systems management including user account administration, installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals, client-server support, software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and PowerShell scripting
• Experience supporting end users with MS products including Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Microsoft Defender Enterprise/ATP, MS Exchange and MS Office 365, Windows Server, Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• Demonstrated experience of virtualization technologies, particularly in VMWare
• Experience with Citrix XenApp 7 or higher and Citrix ADC desirable
• Experience with FortiGate Firewall and Meraki AP desirable
• Knowledge of domains, gateways, routers, switches, (Layer 2 and Layer 3 systems)
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles within an enterprise environment
• TCP/IP based networking experience and knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving service problems with endpoint hardware and software
• Proactive, well organized, excellent time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and find solutions for unexpected situations, as well as anticipate problems that may arise in future
• Proficient communication skills
• Must be willing to work on a 6:30am-3:30pm shift
