We are recruiting for a talented Cloud Administrator to help embed Cloud Optimization principles into our practices and help transform the business using the cloud. The role will be part of the Global Hosting Services Operations team supporting our entire infrastructure estate.

What will you do in this role?
This role is intended – through embedding cloud optimization principles and best practices – to help transform the mindsets of our platform teams, get the maximum return of investment in the cloud, and speed up the delivery of products.
Your principal tasks include:
Provide cloud optimization solutions model and analyze the patterns of each workload —including usage, history, and operational cost, combine this analysis with knowledge of the cloud services and configurations available, then deliver recommendations to improve workload-to-service matching.Provide cloud cost visibility and report (actuals to budget / forecast, spend oversight, detection of key areas of waste and optimization, utilization rates, etc.)Implement governance standards and tooling, including AWS Organizations, Control Tower, resource tagging, etc. for workload automation and continuous optimizationWhat makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
We are looking for a candidate with strong understanding of technical software engineering concepts and AWS requirements for engineering capacity, attention to detail, innovative and collaborative thought leader to develop optimization strategies.
In addition, experience, knowledge or expertise in the following are an advantage:
You will have at least 2 years' experience of hands on exposure to AWS and a good understanding of AWS organisationsProficient knowledge of AWS services and/or Azure and its best practicesProven experience in partnering with stakeholders on cloud best practices and costing in order to influence business decisions.Desired certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate level (if you do not have any of these, we will provide you the support to get certified)
