AWS Specialist

Ubiquity is hiring for an AWS Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Act as a financial advisor and collaborate with IT engineering teams and with the AWS account team, based on executive direction such as financial business cases and cost optimization strategiesBecome the subject matter expert in all cost aspects of Ubiquity AWS usageUse AWS tools to successfully manage cloud and IT spendAssessing reporting and analytic needs of Ubiquity and identifying solution and approach to meet those needs.Communicate, establish, and measure KPIs to track progress and success of transformation and optimization of AWS costsManage numerous requests concurrently & strategically within Ubiquity's IT teamUnderstand and communicate billing, forecasting, and budgeting best practices

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree required or equivalent work experience2+ years experience working with cloud billing or cloud operationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze large data sets, create financial models and simplify complex dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with cloud billing systemsExhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-backed analyses, and influencing resultsAble to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization that can scale quickly
