We are recruiting for a Project Analyst who will be part of our Project Services Team within the Portfolio Office.  The Project Analyst advises project managers on best practice, responding to ad hoc requests or through proactive quality assurance reviews. The Project Analyst uses their strong knowledge of project and programme methodology, organisational standards, processes, templates and lessons learned.

What will you do in this role?

Working under the supervision of the Head of Project Services and with the support of senior project analysts in the UK, you will:

Operate our quality assurance process across a broad portfolio of projects which deliver business and technology change in our global organization;Act as an advisor and coach for all project managers, so they can improve their practice and develop their skills based on your recommendations;Support the development of new standards and processes, their implementation, and monitor, review and improve their level of adoption;Promote and sustain learning in our organization by facilitating the lessons learned process and taking an active part in the project management Community of Practice activities

What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?

You will be ideal for this part if you have over 3 years of experience in a project manager or project analyst (PMO) role. You will make a strong candidate if you have experience or very good and ideally certified knowledge of different project management approaches (such as waterfall and agile methodologies), and can demonstrate good communication and influencing skills.

In addition, experience, knowledge or expertise in the following would give you an advantage:

Using different project management tools (such as Microsoft Project / Project Online, Jira) and collaboration tools, in particular SharePoint and TeamsLeading small projects, or leading workstreams within larger projectsDelivering great user support and advice, empathizing with project managers and being a credible partner to their developmentWorking effectively in global teams
