The Cloud Engineer assists a Project Lead in migrations, implementations, and upgrades while adhering to the company's best practice and being the final tier support for our client base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, implement, configure, and maintain various Azure SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, AIP, ATP, ASR, CAS, EM+S, Teams, Intune, AAD Connect, Exchange online and O365.Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS Virtual Machines and Azure Application and Networking Services to support growth into the cloud.Optimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and fully document IT projectsOperate independently and communicate back to the Project Manager and Project Lead on assigned tasks within estimated timeframe.Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and ticketsBe the escalation point for other IT Systems Engineers and Service Desk EngineersKeep all tickets and projects updated and track time in a detailed formatJob Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud, planning, migrating, and managing solutions.Background with Active Directory Services including DNS, DHCP, and DFS.Experience administering Azure Services: App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, ExpressRoute, Virtual machines, Virtual Networks.Proficient with Azure Security Center and Azure Monitor: Network, Application, Infrastructure.Azure Migration experience, migrating on-premises solutions to the cloud using Azure Migrate (or other) tools.Excellent knowledge of federated identity systems (Microsoft ADFS), multi factor authentication (Azure MFA preferred), Microsoft AD Integration with Cloud Applications/Microsoft Azure Active Directory.Functional knowledge of Network administration.Hands-on experience with Continuity of Operations/Disaster Recovery architecture and planning.Will need hands-on experience with all M365 products. The 3 focus products would be Sharepoint, Onedrive, and Email.Experience around maintaining 3rd party official integrations into M365 is a plusBenefits:
