Job Descriptions:

Plumber Job Summary:

 Reports directly to the Head Plumber/ Technical Services Supervisor. Performs new water meter connections, re connections, replacements, disconnections, assessments and conducting repairs of leak but limited to subdivisions’ properties on main water/distribution line. Monitor working condition of pump and motors to ensure continuous distribution of water supply.

Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:

Water connections and disconnections

New water meter

Prepares materials and requests water meter and fittings for its installation.Verifies accuracy of requested location and installs water meter which is free of any leak.Ensures that all of the required data’s are reported in the “Request Order Form”.

Disconnections

Provides notice of disconnection at least five days before the due date.Executes disconnection once the final lists were released by Customer Service.Fills-up accurate entries on the list of disconnected water connections that will be submitted to Customer Service/Cashier to update system database.

Reconnections

Facilitates the reconnection of disconnected water meter as requested through Request Order Form by CCS/Cashier with supporting documents if necessary.

2.Maintenance and Repair

Mainline and Secondary Lines

Requests for equipment and materials to be used.Facilitates repair and restoration of disconnected water meter through accomplished Request Order Form.

PE tubing, connectors and Stub-outs

Performs repairs and restoration of confirmed major leaks to avoid water losses.

3. Motor / Pump Monitoring and Water Quality

Monitor Motor /Pump Conditions

Measures and records the motor’s voltages and amperages for reference of Head Plumber.Assists in drawing the water discharge to ensure the quality of the pump’s water withdrawal capacity and records its data for reference. Observes and reports abnormalities of motor or pump performances for preliminary assessment and troubleshooting by the Head Plumber.Assists and ensures that the contractor’s activities are done according to the standard of the organization.

Water Quality

Handles proactively homeowner’s concerns regarding water quality.Performs water tank cleaning to ensure clear, clean and rust free for our homeowners.

4. Reports

Records daily activities and accomplishments for documentation.Submits weekly reports summary to Billing Assistant for database system updates.Reports any illegal water connection performed by Homeowner in order to impose appropriate penalty.Provides accomplished Request Order Form (ROF) for documentation of completed tasks.
