GIS DEVELOPERBe part of an Australian company that empowers organizations with geospatial technologies to mobilize their workforce for rapid, accurate field data collection.Join a SaaS team that delivers spatial software, integrations, and consulting services to improve field-based asset management efficiency.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, test and implement the customized GIS-based software solution for clients.Undertake software development as part of the team using established tech stacks and standards including Agile methodology, version control, and continuous integration.Assist in designing features and modules for development and implementationUse commercial and open-source spatial frameworks and libraries to assist with the development of our spatial solutions.Undertake supporting tasks including data management, data processing, requirements documentation, analysis, and solution design.Assist with the provision of related services for clients including training, GIS software and data administrations, software support and maintenance, and the development of technical and user documentation as required.REQUIREMENTS:Candidates must have an experience in Software development and implementation of desktop and web applications, ideally in the commercial GIS space.The design and implementation of spatial databases e.g., PostgreSQL/ PostGIS, ESRI geodatabases, and SQL Server.Software development languages including:C++SQL (including Spatial SQL)Experience Developing spatial services including: map and geo-processing services (both based on open standards and vendor offerings).Experience working in a small team environment.With relevant tertiary qualifications in Software Development or GIS, or equivalent experience.NICE TO HAVE:At least 2 years of experience in a similar GIS development role, working with ESRI or Open-Source tools.Experience with Angular and cloud environments (AWS).Experience working in a commercial professional services environment.WORK DETAILS:Shift: Monday- Friday, 6:00am- 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm (PH Time)Location: Makati | *Work from Home Until Further NoticeStatus: Open to Full time employment or Contractor set-up
