Graphic Designer (Night Shift)

Position summary: Assigned to the Oceania region, Creative Designers will provide high-end creative support to EY internal clients and service lines. Skilled at both generating excellent work and providing exceptional client service, Creative Designers manage projects from allocation to completion. Intensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a must, with a high proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Equally important to the role is experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to create high end presentations without sacrificing quality in Powerpoint. Multimedia and video projects are also handled in the role. Creative Designers must also be able to understand and apply specific guidelines when implementing EY branding to projects. Aside from technical skills, EY Creative Designers are also effective communicators who are able to discuss design concepts, generate original ideas, provide budget estimates, manage project timelines and client expectations. The ability to work within a team and take direction is highly valued.Required qualification:Experience as a designer working in a professional setting (e.g., Creative, Digital, Advertising, Marketing, Media, etc.) Desirable qualification:Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree, preferably in Fine Arts, Advertising, Mutimedia, Communication Arts or similar Technical skills/tool requirements: •  Adobe Creative Suite: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, etc. •  Must be an effective communicator -- high proficiency in verbal and written English •  MS Office: Powerpoint is highly valued. Skill with using Word and Excel are a plus. •  Knowledge and skill with Adobe Experience Manager, Sharepoint, HTML and other digital platforms are highly valued •  Presents concepts and visualizes customer ideas through drafts, storyboards, sketches, etc.•  Must know how to integrate imagery and copy to amplify messaging and impact of designs •  Comes up with clever data visualisation and infographic solutions •  Video editing and motion design •  Applies typographic design effectively •  Knowledge with technical printing processes •  Illustration skill is a bonusRoles and responsibilities: •  Works within a team of designers situated in various global EY locations •  Works on projects assigned by the allocation team and ensures utilization or billing targets are met •  Keeps up to date with latest brand guidelines, principles and templates •  Follows team processes to ensure quality of work •  Liases with clients for briefings and project updates •  Keeps documentation of project specifications and ensures projects are executed as intended •  Diligently ensures that content of designed materials are accurate and correct •  Consults with team members as needed •  Updates tracking tools as required by team management •  Updates billing systems within a required period of time •  Keeps up to date with administrative and training requirements •  Attends meetings as required by the Organization •  May be assigned ad-hoc work on occasion
