about THE ROLE 

You will be responsible for optimising, maintaining our websites & improving their performance.

Reporting to the Lead Web Developer, from Marketing Department managed by the Marketing Operations Manager, you will work closely with other Web Developers, a Web Admin, UX/UI specialists, the Web Content team, and the SEO team .

Requirements

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

WordPress site & server management (maintaining themes and plugin updates, manage backups, security, domain setup, SSL installation, etc)Monitor & optimise site speed, performance, and technical optimisation, fix issues (broken links, bugs, etc.)Ensure that all websites follow SEO standards with SEO TeamResolve any advanced technical issues with web hosting providersCreate new websites/webpages or update existing ones, either static or dynamic, with UX/UI Specialist and the Design TeamTest & debug beta version of websites before launchBuild reusable codes for future useImplement designs provided by the design team and translate them into web pages

ESSENTIAL – you must possess these skills

At least 2 years experience as a web developerStrong technical experience in developing and maintaining WordPress sites with WooCommerce including technical website optimisationStrong HTML & CSS knowledge/coding skillsAble to convert designs and mock ups from PSD/AI to HTMLExperience in editing & modifying WordPress pluginsExperience in A/B testing & running web experimentsUnderstand Mobile Responsive CSS & Design

DESIRABLE – bonus if you possess these skills

Working knowledge of WordPress plugin integration with CRM lead generation forms (we use Zoho CRM)Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager & tracking pageviews, transactions & eventsExperience in using Elementor WordPress Theme DevelopmentGraphic design experience using Photoshop, IllustratorBasic understanding of how DNS worksKnowledge in server management & online security, content management
