Affinity Express, part of the Ayala Group of Companies, is looking for Copywriters to join our team!The associate copywriter is responsible for generating original copy that promotes a client’s product or service and grabs the attention of the target audience. This can include writing for social media, creating sales pitches, straplines, slogans, jingles and scripts.Understand the work instructions and interpret the client’s requirements and core messagesGet familiar with the product, target audience, and competitor activities in the marketBrainstorm ideas and concepts for the visual and wordingCollaborate with other members of the creative teamWrite various copy options which may be presented to the clientAccept copy changes from an editor and modify copy until the client is satisfiedBe accountable for checking all the content being advertised is truthful and complies with codes of advertising practiceCheck and proofread one’s own work in terms of spelling, grammar, and content before submitting the output to the copy editorOther Production ResponsibilitiesMaintain productivity and accuracy standards for the role and submit to Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) when necessaryAccept tasks assigned by superiors and/or Team Leader with minimal handoverRegularly coordinate, collaborate, and interact with team members to ensure cross-learning and continuous improvementAbide by the policies and rules of the company and act in a professional manner at all timesPerform/render other duties or special projects, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication Arts, Mass Communication, and other related coursesExperience in copywriting is an advantageWilling to work in shifting scheduleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problemsA team player and able to work well in a collaborative environmentAdapts well to a fast-paced working environmentShould have at least 10 MBPS of internet connectionSend your application now and be part of our growing family!
