WHAT THIS POSITION IS about - PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to support the Marketing Communications & PR Team to launch JTI Philippines in the emerging RRP category and JTIP's trade initiatives, ushering the consumer or customer throughout the full journey, from driving awareness, education, and to engagement that leads to conversion. The role acts as brand champion to non-product driven trade initiatives, establishing a clear brand identity to these cross-functional initiatives that help increase brand awareness and foster brand loyalty.The role is responsible for delivery across RRP and Trade audiences in this area:PR & EventsComms, messaging and content calendar preparation & maintenanceContent development for PR initiatives and eventsEvent and media management in cooperation with CA&COther engagement strategies, both online and on-groundWHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
PR Management: Create awareness for the RRP category and relevant JTI products via traditional and digital channels (internal and external) by executing initiatives that result in higher awareness and understanding of the category and its products, increased search volume and in turn, more organic website traffic leading to RRP's digital assets (website, database signups, online communities, etc). Tasks include, but are not limited to, coordination with Corporate Affairs to engage the media, aligning with Legal to ensure compliance of initiatives, article seeding to tradition media and digital publishers, influencer management, etc.Digital Content Production: Create content aligned with the RRP SEO and RRP Social Media Engagement strategies. Ensure content calendars are followed to drive always-on relevance and awareness of the RRP category in the digital space, both internal and external. Ensure that content calendar is aligned with RRP category's communication objectives as well as schedule of trade programs to ensure always-on pushStakeholder & Coordination: Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners, such as agencies, to ensure timeliness in meeting milestones and deliverables that translates into tangible results.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate degree or equivalent vocational training in Communication Arts, Marketing, Journalism, Creative Writing, etc2-3 years of combined proven work experience as PR associate, marketing communications assistant, or content writer, primarily in the Digital spaceFunctional Skills:PRPR Writing for both digital and traditional mediaContent writing for various platforms (website, SEO-friendly, social media, etc.)Can source and engage one-on-one with digital communities and digital advocatesonline Community buildingDigital activationsMaximizing existing relationships with media partners/content creators/influencersAgency managementSocial listening and social media analyticsHave excellent communications skills: written and verbal, both English and FilipinoWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
