IT Expert (Workspace)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supporting Aurecon’s IT infrastructure environmentProviding infrastructure support escalated from Service Desk and directly from stakeholdersDeploy and manage Applications, Collections via System Center Configuration ManagerAdhere to incident, Problem, and Change management processes as per Aurecon standards and within SLAsAutomate installations for deployment via: - MSI Repackage - MSI Transforms - Silent Install vendor exe & scriptingOversee user testing with nominated application testers (SOE compatibility, Functional testing, Application deployment via SCCM or Manual install)Provide Level 3 support to Level 1 & 2 support teams for SCCM and license related issuesSetup, manage and maintain network license servers for software and DNS creation (Codemeter, Sentinel, etc.)Handover pertinent knowledge and support documentation to IT support departmentsManual Software Install Management (Manapps)Keep information up-to-dateSource installation software mediaWrite installation instructions and validate with product ownersConfigure and approve applications for Manual Installation by Service desk/On-site staff

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fieldUnderstanding of Windows 10 architectureDeployment of application packages via SCCM 2012 or laterBroad knowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteExperience in scripting in VBscript, PowerShell WMI or WSHFamiliarity with Admin Studio/Wise Package StudioFamiliarity with ProcMon, FileMon, RegMon, OrcaFamiliarity with setting up and troubleshooting Network License solutions (Codemeter, Sentinel, etc.)Sourcing application information required for packaging and deploymentExperience of carrying out application discovery and analysis to enable correct integration, as well as hands-on sequencing and quality assurance activities which include documenting work carried out.Experience of working with a number of areas within the Release Management Lifecycle.
