Main ResponsibilitiesHelp formulate, execute and sustain a corporate communications strategyHelp build and reinforce Mineski’s reputation, its products, and services, focusing on gaming, gamification and a wide range of related business issues, with deep local insightsManage product announcements and direct thought leadership around Mineski’s products, technology, culture and business matters, all in close collaboration with other communications, publicity, marketing and policy colleaguesHave strong cross-functional interactions with the broader team, with a high level of visibility and impact within the business. This individual will be a key partner to the policy, business development, legal, and content teamsQualificationsBachelor's/Master's degree in Journalism, Psychology, Communications or any related field, preferredTen (10) years of experience in a corporate or agency setting; preferably with experience in the gaming, entertainment, technology and/or media sector, as well as crisis and issues managementHave a strong business acumen as well as know industry related technology, gaming, entertainment, regulatory, and competitive issues. When necessary, to serve as a company spokesperson. Have in-depth experience of the Philippines and media landscape; have - or be capable of - quickly establishing trusted relationships with business, media and gaming sector media, news media and entertainment trade press; as well as a strong understanding of the nuances of newsroomsHave a global mindset, ideally with experience working in multiple countries and/or in multicultural environmentsBe able to work cross-functionally and build relationships inside and outside the organizationBe an entrepreneurial self-starter who comes up with new approaches and is eager to try those outHas a passion for gaming and entertainment and how that relates to consumersDemonstrate a deep appreciation of local sensitivities and insights into various cultures, including the ability to write and speak well in Filipino and English
