Senior Tax Associate - US (PERMANENT WFH)

Job Description:

Prepares and/or review tax returns, including supporting attachments and documentation in accordance with the tax standardsAnalyzes financial records and tax journals required to prepare the tax returnsHandles inquiries, review comments and tax issues of the clientsIncorporates tax reduction strategies to minimize tax liabilitiesContributes insights and recommendations to improve tax processingMeets all required deadlines in relation to the compliance of filing of tax returnsAttends various tax trainings to maintain and update knowledge on tax laws

Requirements:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in AccountancyMust have at least 2 years of experience in preparation and compliance filing of tax returns, preferably for US clientsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plusHave basic knowledge of tax laws and standards, preferably US taxation.Equipped with general US GAAP and IFRS knowledge    Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsStrong analytical and quantitative skillsAbility to work independently with less supervisionExperience working with US or other international client is a plus
