Construction Manager

JOB SUMMARYOversee construction projects from beginning to end.Manage a team of engineers and architects and be accountable for the timely and quality completion of the team’s deliverables.Plan construction operations to ensure all deadlines are met. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.Manage the project budget and estimate costs.Ensure the project complies with building codes and other standards. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality.Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed to complete the project timely and efficient manner.Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment. Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction project.Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to project schedule.Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements.Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team.Hire contractors and staff including construction laborersDelegate responsibilities as needed.Train and mentor construction workers and construction laborers depending on the size of the project.evaluate risks and resolve any problems or issues that may arise.Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularlyAccountable to obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites.Ensures compliance to safety and health standards and protocols at all times.Process the payments for the office utilities consumption.Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a projectConduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.Approve and sign Leave Requests of personnel in assigned area.evaluate the performance of the assigned personnel. Sign off the KPI evaluationMust be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. Should have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.QUALIFICATIonSGraduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or any other related field; with Professional License.With minimum six (6) years of work experience in constructionWith in-depth knowledge of engineering and construction practices Highly organized and able to multitasksWilling to start as soon as possible
