As an Operation Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising the timely completion of Reed Exhibitions campaigns.The role supervises the planning, organizing, executing and reporting of all Reed Exhibitions campaigns and will be accountable for achieving the shows goals.Apart from this, the Functional Supervisor will provide assistance on General Event Support projects – Data Management, Event Relations and Event SupportDo you have the skills and experience as Operation Supervisor? Responsibilities:
Ensure new employees are oriented to the organization, its policies, facilitiesEnsure that employees follow the organization’s policies and proceduresFacilitate Employee Training and DevelopmentRegularly review the needs of employeesHelp, discuss, evaluate and resolve personal and work issues among team membersInform and monitor employees during times of crisis or disaster to assess situationInform the manager of the current situation of team members and recommend solutionSubmit weekly operation performance status report to Reed Exhibitions ManagerGenerate monthly performance update to Business Unit stakeholderUpdate all necessary reports needed by StakeholdersEnsure all reports are accurate, updated and submitted on timeQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5 – 7 years of Leadership experience required3 – 5 years experience in a customer contact environment preferredStrong written and verbal communication, problem solving, project management and delegation skillsResponsible for team’s people leadership, employee engagement, staff development and performance managementHas a strong sense of ownership relating to tasks and responsibilitiesOrganized and very systematic in handling tasks at handVery proactive in stakeholder management, project ownership and team coordinationVery decisive and results orientedProject and time management skills, demonstrated by the ability to manage a number of projects at the same timeStrong commitment to performance and team successApplicants must be willing to work in flexible/rotating schedule depending on business needsProficient in German and / or FrenchWhy Join Us?
