INTERIOR DESIGN MANAGER

Assists the Sr. Interior Design Manager to manage the Interior Design Team. Mages the review and evaluation of interior design plans, site implementation, and installation progress on-site in line with the approved design plan and budget, in order to mitigate any abortive costs and delays in projects due to unplanned changes or incorrect design assumptions.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Leads and ID team in planning, developing, recommending, and implementing key strategies to achieve approved ID completion dates.Sets ID work standards & guidelines and strictly implements, monitors & inspects work output vis-a-vis shop drawings, technical specifications, and other contractual agreements in order to meet project deadlines.Manages resources through regular & strict monitoring of project timelines and budget. Recommends cost efficiency measures across all construction stages in consultation with consultants, contractors, and concerned trades.evaluates technical aspects of tender offers and recommends contractors for awarding, following approved timelines and budgets.Manages allocation of project resources comprising of people, material, and time within an assigned project.Manages the communication and coordination of technical issues and resolves them in consultation with PM, consultant, contractors, and affected trades.Organizes and reviews progress, claims, cost, and related reports, tracking logs, and identifies potential issues and recommends alternative solutions to ensure compliance with agreed budgets and timelines.Leads in the preparation, consolidation, and review of project drawings to ensure accuracy and correctness.Reviews and evaluates accuracy and correctness of site project contracts and strictly monitors compliance with documentation deliverables and liaises with contractors on work schedule or quality concerns in order to minimize disputes and conflicts.
