Special Projects Manager

As Special Projects Manager, your key role will be assisting the COO in critical, day-to-day operational and executive work, to drive forward initiatives across the Group’s Operations.

We’ve scoped this role to enable our COO to work better, faster, and with more insight across the entire organization. This role will touch on most aspects of the Group’s Operations, with a particular focus in the short term on business strategy and culture.

The Strategic Projects Manager will support the Chief Operating Officer in the implementation of group strategy and the development of an agile culture in the APAC region.

We are looking for talents with:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, and/or Communication.MBA or CFA is a plus5+ years of demonstrated success in a Financial Modelling, Operations or Strategy-related role.Extremely detail-oriented with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.You have deep strategic and systemic thinking.Excellent presentation skills - you can develop and deliver engaging presentations and run efficient and productive meetings.Highly analytical, strategic, and creative thinker with strong business acumen and modeling skills.A strong operational and strategy experience, preferably at a fast-growing company or Fintech. The ability to drive business insights and operational improvement in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.The ability to drive initiatives with minimal structure and be influential within the organization to garner internal support for initiativeCommitment as a team player, but able to work independently.Relevant experience in budget planning and spend management.Creative and efficient ways to solve problemsRelevant experience with data analysisPython skills are advantageous

Your main job responsibilities are:

Working directly with our COO to manage and drive key operational initiatives across the businessDesigning and implementing key operational and governance processes across the company, ensuring full alignment and accountability across the organization, specifically in APACContributing and developing the financial model of the group and its constituent productsPreparing for key strategy and partnership meetings including presentation decksKeeping the COO accountable for his projects and commitments, while helping keep reports accountable to their key deliverables and resultsCollaborating with functional leads to develop and track team-wid success metrics across our quarterly operations reviews Additional InformationCareer Level Assistant Manager/Manager
