Role Purpose

Responsible to running the kitchen smoothly and appropriately.

Key Accountabilities

Manage all kitchen and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.Ensure high food quality standards and consistency maintained.To assists all the chefs in rolling the operation, cleanliness, inventory listing.Cook and prepare a variety of foods as directed by the Executive Chef.To control the consistency of quality and quantity of foods served.Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly.Assist head chef with various tasks as needed.

Essential Requirements:

Able to work under pressureKnowledge of operations in hot and cold kitchensHigh creativePossess good leadership and supervisory skills

Desirable Requirements:

Possess at least Secondary DiplomaTrained and qualified as a Sous Chef by a recognized training institution. At least 3 years of related experience.
