Job Responsibilities :

Assist the Kitchen and Head Chef to please customers by providing a pleasant dining experience, exceeding expectations.Assists in preparing and serving meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen, under the direction of the Head Chef.Executes cold food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications and under the direction of the Head Chef.Attends to the detail and presentation of each food order.Places and expedites orders as required.Prepares ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients; adding seasonings; verifying taste; and plating meals, under the direction of the Head Chef.Completes hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients, under the direction of the Head ChefAdheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.Stores leftovers according to established standards, under the direction of the Head ChefCoordinates daily food supply inventory as required. Submits order to Head Chef.Ensures smooth operation of kitchen services during absence of the Head ChefMaintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areasAssists with orienting new employees to their work area, if requested by the Head ChefListens to customer complaints and suggestions and resolves complaintsImplements suggestions within the scope of the position and refers more complex concerns to the Head ChefEnsure you learn about any new equipment and cleaning methods and provide efficient and effective methods of maintaining work areaParticipate in and contribute to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.If required, there maybe occasions where you may need to assist in other basic hotel duties outside the scope of the kitchen in the front of house in case of times of high work loads

Qualifications :

A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.Good Communication Skills and hardworking
