The Project Development Manager is responsible for steering the development of hotels in the existing pipeline and ensuring project certainty in terms of time, cost, and scope.
KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
INVESTMENT PROSPECTUS UPDATING
• Validate and update business case assumptions as the project reaches critical planning milestones
• Drive the cost planning, hotel planning, operations and bidding groups in increasing project certainty for time, scope and cost
• Coordinate with internal groups in market research and financial feasibility studies to update project relevance vis- à-vis current competitive situation
PROJECT TRACKING AND MANAGEMENT
• Consistently adhere to project management systems, team structures and coordination mechanisms to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Constantly update and determine accuracy of project trackers
• Flag project approval concerns and mitigate project delays through detailed root cause analysis
• Steer the project in accordance to the agreed Investment Prospectus
