SCOPE OF ROLE
The Data and Analytics team at PAYRHEALTH is responsible for supporting internal and external stakeholders with analytical insights. The Data Analyst will report to the Analytics Manager and will play an integral role in the organization’s performance by providing intelligence to our Network, Clinical, and Financial teams in order to drive performance through advanced value-based arrangements. The primary function will be to assist in establishing data governance across our disparate data sources. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced and challenging environment and wants to be part of a team that is focused on utilizing analytics to improve healthcare outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst will serve as liaison within the IT organization and be responsible for the following items:
· Provide analytical support and consultation that support Payrhealth contracting operations and other departmental analytics needs
· Develop reporting that will enable the organization to consistently monitor key operational and performance metrics
· Provide quality assurance and transparency in methodology of analyses
· Utilize tools such as SQL and advanced Excel functions such as V-Lookups, Pivot Tables for contract modeling and analysis
· Maintain reference tables such as fee schedules and benchmark data sets
· Query and transform large volumes of unstructured data to use in structured analyses
· Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns using complex data sets
· Understand and analyze impacts of new program or contract changes and proposals
· Complete both ad hoc requests and develop standardized dashboards using tools such as PowerBI
· Contribute to data governance to ensure data accuracy
· Liaison with data engineering team to oversee transmission of data files to ensure data completeness

Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA in business administration, finance or health care administration-relatedDetail oriented and ability to produce accurate resultsMinimum of 3 years of experienceExcellent organizational and prioritization skills, the ability to work under tight deadlines, high productivityIntermediate to advanced knowledge of CMS and payor pay schedulesStrong written and verbal communication skills· Team player and effectively shares knowledge with team.
