Product Quality Innovation Supervisor

The Product Quality Innovation will proactively identify, design, develop and bring to market innovative products and features delivered through flawless customer experiences, in line with the organization’s strategic plans, with a focus on low-balance savings initiatives. After testing the new products and customer engagements, these shall be delivered for scale-up and “business as usual”

Job Responsibilities:

Explore, develop and source out new productsResearch current consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product conceptsLook for an alternative suppliers of existing productsImproved the formulation of existing productsAudit suppliers or manage internal auditsRun trials of new products before launchingPerform sensory and triangle testingEnsures that all new product for launching are effective and quality productsCompile, check and approve product specifications and labellingEnsure products are profitable.As part of the Product Quality and Innovation team, you will be part of a technical team investigating the root cause and recommending corrective and preventive action of certain products raised byCustomer Care or the Management to have quality issuesContribute to the continuous improvement of quality standards in the areas of new and existing products, practices, documentation, as well as in product innovationOther specific responsibilities vary by project scope and prior experience

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food IndustryPreferably with 2-3 years experience in R&DHas good problem solving abilitiesIs able to troubleshoot issues and determine the cause of a plan’s success or failureStays current with the latest trends in merchandisePossesses strong marketing skillsHas excellent leadership abilitiesKeeps up to date with changes in the market and technology that would affect new product developmentIs able to meet deadlines
