EDR Accounting & Business Solutions is currently looking for a Procurement and Logistics Officer to work alongside EDR’s passionate and people-centric Practice Manager and Admin Team Leader in the Manila office.
Founded in 2017, EDR launched as a progressive accounting firm based in Manila, albeit not together in an office currently, with our second office in Brisbane. Over the years, we have grown exponentially with the conception of our multiple brands, SUMB (Set Up My Business) and SUMO (Set Up My Offshore).
SUMO is designed to provide offshore staffing solutions for small and medium businesses across Australia at a fraction of a cost to hire locally, from our office in Manila.
SUM[B] is developed to be an all-in-one online platform that offers business setup and solutions for new businesses across Australia, taking a range of traditionally cost inhibitive providers and transforming their services into an accessible format.
about THE ROLE
The Procurement and Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordination with competent and reliable suppliers, purchase of quality equipment, delivery of equipment, and inventory management.
The responsibilities are listed below but are not limited to:
Procurement Tasks
Liaise with suppliers and evaluate supply options, approve purchases, and maintain accurate recordsPlan ahead of time for the purchase of equipment and suppliesMaintain records of all transactions and ensure that an efficient filing system is in placeCoordinate purchase and delivery of gifts to clients in Australia (when necessary)Logistics Tasks
Maintain list of property and equipment and act as property control officerCoordinate and monitor the delivery of ordered goods and ensure that all goods are properly receivedOrganise communication and delivery of units to repair shop (or warranty stores where equipment was purchased) for hardware issuesResponsible for asset disposal management as appropriateOther Administrative Tasks
Report onsite to oversee office properties, equipment, and office spaceCommunicate with the finance team for payment arrangements with the suppliersMaintain high quality documentation and production Coordinate logistics and travel arrangements (when necessary)about THE QUALIFICATIONS
Any Bachelor’s Degree; with financial background preferredTwo (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in purchasing and knowledge in supply chain With an excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWith a good analytical and strategic thinking skillsAbility to exercise initiative and work both independently and cooperatively as required.Strong organisational skills and the ability to set priorities within the context of competing demands
