Job Summary
Prepare reports for the supervisor relating to the inventory balance, shortages, defective items. The inventory clerk may be responsible for attaching price labels to merchandise or recording barcode information in the computer.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Receives items by packing containers.
2. Verifies items received by checking identifying information of items; inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list.
3. Maintains inventory by marking and placing items in stock; establishing inventory reorder points; reporting items to be reordered.
4. documents inventory by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, and losses
5. Fills item requests by issuing/delivering items.
6. Keeps inventory available by inspecting items for wear and defects; completing repairs and servicing of items.
7. Prepares inventory reports by collecting and analyzing information on stock usage.
8. Maintains inventory operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Qualifications
1. College graduate of Accounting, Industrial Engineer graduate or any 4-year Business Course
2. Preferably 1-2 years experience in Retail and Warehousing
3. Knowledge and Skills in Computer (MS Office), Technical and Analytical skills
