005: Capacity Planner

Qualifications: (Required years of work experience and educational background)

Bachelor's Degree, must be engineering graduateWith at least 1 year of experience in production planning and controlWith knowledge in SAP

Functions:

Capacity and Line Utilization

Consolidates volume forecast and loaded open SO from DMT and send to IE, Engineering and Production to ensure correct monthly headcount requirement and allocationComputes, analyze and release SMT, COB and common tester utilization and makes recommendation for any needed additional capacity

Daily production schedule of Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Singulation, COB Process

Ensures that daily production schedule is aligned to capacity, jigs, tools, and materials availability (4Ms) (Production readiness)Balance the line loading at SMT based on requested throw-in date and/or shipment date considering line capacityCoordinates with planner/scheduler for buildable lots to ensure smooth production scheduleEnsure smooth production flow in order to meet timely delivery to customer and maximized line efficiencyActs as the interface to BU/PCMC/Production/Engg/QA in order to effectively carry out plans and ensure customer satisfactionMonitors plan vs actual and have a quick on time recovery plans for any machine prolong downtime encountered and other reasons of missed production output

Coordinates with Scheduler, QA, BU, and Engineering for qualification and line transferParticipants in special projects that may improve work activities and relations

Skills and Abilities:

Basic understanding of the semiconductor/electronics manufacturing industry
