Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Supply Management, Business or Engineering, preferably related to supply management, business, accounting, or engineeringMust have at least 5 years of experience in a buying capacity (Buyer, Supervisor, Asst. Manager)With experience in supply management certification (CPP, C.P.M., CPSM, CIPS) is a plusShould have SAP MM experienceProficient in MS Office and Google WorkspaceJob Description:
1. Technical
1.1 Develop, establish, implement and enforce supplier and outsourcing guidelines, obligations and service level of agreements to the organization.
1.2 Analyze trends & marked conditions for the present & future pricing, availability, lead time & capacity of goods & services.
1.3 Validates and reviews documents for Pre-bidding and Bidding phase.
1.4 Negotiate prices and terms with the Vendors
1.5 Recommends for the approval of the canvass and purchase order submitted by buyers within approval limits.
1.6 Validates, Recommends and/or Approves documents being prepared, such as Canvass Sheet, Purchase Order, Contract and others which are needed to serve requirements of operating unit.
1.7 Recommends to black list a Supplier due to poor performance or for unaccepted incident that result to a loss of the company
1.8 Implement all Procurement Policies & Procedures, recommends changes to improve efficiency and/or controls.
1.9 Maintain good working relationships with vendors.
2. Administrative
2.1 Supervise all purchasing specialists, including training in related job responsibilities; assigning and delegating work, providing performance appraisal and handling operational activities within the unit.
