Job Summary:
Responsible for the procurement of commodities through the development and implementation of commodity strategies plans and management of supplier relationships. Responsible for continuous review of purchasing policies and procedures to ensure efficiency in process and control in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Recommend consolidated strategies for cost and process efficiencies through research, meeting with Suppliers, and Operating units.Ensure that requirements/reports are processed within the SLA in adherence to Procurement Policy and to conduct activities/actions that will lead to purchases within the budget.Material and Supplier Accreditation: Assess and develop a plan on what category per team should be prioritized in Supplier and Material Accreditation; Recommends to block list a Supplier due to poor performance or for unaccepted incident that result to a loss of the company.Processing of Requirements: Validates, Recommends and/or Approves documents being prepared in Procurement such as Canvass Sheet, Purchase Order, Contract and others which is needed to serve requirements of operating unit.Material Study: Analyze trends & marked conditions for the present & future pricing, availability, lead time & capacity of goods & services; Consolidate and analyze information from each team for recommended strategies and create concrete recommendations based on the data.Admin and Report: Develop, implement, and review all Procurement and Inter-departmental Policies & Procedures; Maintains purchasing documents, files, and records to ensure the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and guidelines.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree graduate of Business, Accounting, Supply Chain or any equivalent;Should have at least a minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement, with at least 2 years of managerial experience in Supply Chain Management/ Procurement/ Purchasing;Must have a strong Strategic and Analytical Skills; Skilled in SAP, Microsoft Office or Equivalent.Able to speak Mandarin is a plus but not required.
