The position was established to provide direction to Human Capital Operations and ensure that all strategic initiatives are continuously implemented. The main objective is to ensure that creating an engaging workplace is measured by improving the bar of performance and consistently garnering high employee engagement scores by carefully following the employee life cycle process of Recruitment, Talent & Performance Management, Culture Development, Compensation, and succession planning.

1. Assist the HCM in developing and implementing the HC strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

2. Ensure that the HCD serves as the bridge between the management and the employees by addressing the demands, needs, grievances, development, etc.

3. Manage the proper execution of each HC section and ensure company policy and standards are enforced and observed

4. Diagnose what talent is needed; how many employees are necessary and the skills they should possess.

5. Commit to continuous learning, improvements, and change. Assess the progress in talent management, learn what works and what doesn't, and suggest changes when necessary.  

6. Continuous review of the compensation and benefits processes and strategy, and ensure it is reflected in the automated system.

7. Being a role model for the organization's beliefs by reinforcing organizational values.

8. Enabling two-way communications and feedback channels and encouraging the empowerment of individuals and teams.

9. Ensure adherence to corporate morals and values by enforcing appropriate disciplinary actions in compliance with DOLE requirements and standards. Acts as Representative of the company with regards to DOLE SENA or mandatory hearings and conducts performance counseling and

discipline. 

10. Spearheaded, strengthen, and timely submission of employee engagement activities.

11. Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human capital and organizational policies and procedures.
