The role

Cardno now Stantec is currently seeking a Civil Drafter – Urban Infrastructure to join our Civil Engineering team in Manila. Cardno has also embraced ‘Work Your Way’, which enables flexible working tailored to your individual circumstance through an environment of empowerment and trust

RESPonSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Providing design, drafting and plan production services for civil engineering projectsPlanning and preparing preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawingsEnsuring drawings meet company and industry standards and codes.Working closely with other Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers to develop designs, construction documents, and ensure coordination design effort is maintained.Completing drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule; review drawings for completeness and accuracy.Organizing and maintaining all revisions of project drawings, files and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner.Adhere to the quality system requirements of the project as defined in the Project Quality PlanComply with the company’s Quality Management system and provide feedback and recommendations where the system may need modificationAdhere to the responsibilities as required by relevant Workplace Health & Safety legislation and internal Cardno PoliciesOther tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Immediate Manager/Team LeadPerform drafting on major Infrastructure North East link projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Degree or Technical School Degree in Drafting TechnologyHave at least 5 years of experience as a Civil DrafterHave strong background in a designing transport infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, and land development.Strong proficiency on these software tools: AutoCad, or Civil 3DMicrostation skill sets desirable but not essential.Have sound knowledge in international building codes and standardsHave strong communication skillsHighly motivated and self-directedAbility to meet tight deadlines in a high paced environment, excellent organization, multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize according to importance and urgencyWorks as part of a team as well as works autonomously
