JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.Completed the training course on BOSH / COSH (Basic Occupational Safety & Health / Construction Occupational Safety & Health)DOLE Accredited OSH Practitioner is an advantage.Computer literate (Typing, Communication and/or Training & Driving)DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as the SHE&S Focal Point pertaining to Safety, Health, Environment & Security Control.Observes and complies with existing company codes, policies, agreements, rules, and regulations.Conducts regular inspection of buildings facilities, work areas, tools and equipment of the company.Observes work methods and procedures of workers to determine unsafe working conditions and practices.Assists and Investigates accidents by spot inspection and interrogation of parties and/or witnesses involved to determine cause and prevent recurrence of the same.Prepares reports based on inspection, observation and investigation; recommending measures and methods of eliminating unsafe working conditions and procedures.Conducts periodic seminars and trainings through field demonstrations and/or lectures on safety practices, accident prevention measures and defensive driving techniques.Attends and/or participates on regular meeting within and outside of the company.Practices and monitors safety rules and regulations in the work area.Fulfill all the duties and responsibilities of a Safety Office as per DOLE OSH Standard Rules No. 1030 and 1040 of the Occupational Safety and Health.
