JOB SUMMARY          Ensures that the Project is delivering expectation set by the Company and that which is required by MERALCO, in accordance to the Company’s commitment to Quality and Safety, thru its implemented policies and direction.      KEY ROLES AND RESPonSIBILITYExecution planning, design and evaluation of assigned Non-Electric ProjectSite inspection, data gathering and analysis of inputs/requirementsReview of applicable codesSchematic/concept design and perspectiveDesign development of engineering designSanitary and Plumbing designSanitary working drawings and contract documentsAssessment, Review and Validation of preliminary and final/actual designDevelopment of technical specificationCost estimateSign and seal design plans, contract documents, building and occupancy permit application forms and other project requirementsTechnical evaluation and review of bids of assigned Non-Electric ProjectsAcquisition of qualified contractorsDesign coordination and clarification       2. Maintenance and audit of as-built plans and other relevant documentsPreparation and development of as-built plans for existing buildings and facilitiesManagement and control of project as-built plans for all assigned Non-Electric ProjectDevelopment, maintenance and audit of as-built files data base       3. Provision of design consultancy and other related technical servicesProvision of design consultancy and technical support to other organizationDesign of special/unplanned projects as assigned/approved by hierarchy          Provision of technical support evaluation of proposal       JOB SPECIFICATIonSGraduate of a Bachelor’s/College degree in Engineering, must be a Licensed Sanitary Engineer.Proficient in current version of AutoCAD, MS Word & ExcelGood working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and approval processAdvance knowledge in quantity take-off and cost estimateExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalAt least two (2) years of engineering experience
