Workshop Supervisor - Ford Tacloban

SUMMARYPerforms supervisory responsibilities by overseeing skilled mechanics and workers maintaining automobile and truck vehicles. Supervises independently and in harmony with the automotive shop foreman and communicates with the superiors and subordinates. Schedules and implements the smooth flow of general shop repairs and preventive maintenance workload for the physical plant and for other university departments. Coordinates and directs the service department technicians for maximum efficiency and productivity while overseeing all service repair work to ensure the highest quality of customer service.The job responsibilities are as follows:* Ensure full and accurate communication to workshop, parts, reception, and quality control.* Maintain up-to-date progress on each and every vehicle under maintenance / repair.* Ensure Technicians' optimum productivity* Issue jobs to available technicians who have the required skill level.* Issue work in the order to achieve promised times. * Communicate any and all changes that affect a vehicle to the concerned person / department e.g. completion time, parts shortage, extra work, damage found, delayed diagnosis etc.* Monitor technicians' performance, productivity and efficiencies on daily and weekly basis.
