Job Controller

The Job Controller role is one of the busiest and pressured roles in the Dealership. The role consists of handing out work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure smooth running of the workshop. The role will also coordinate with the Service Department and also be able to answer any queries from other departments as well as with the customers.

Review repair work prior to give job assignment.Check RO writing, customer concern first before Service Advisor advise (incomplete job description and attached documents will return to the Service Advisor. Check on the VRC for technician fill-up must have tire and brake measurement and battery reading results.Check estimated cost and promise time.Provide Flat Rate time according to job written in RO.Assign technician according to job priority versus promise time.Explain to technician the Flat rate time and completion time.Check technician daily attendanceGenerate and calculate load capacity based on jobs priority status: a) ongoing Job, b) Appointment, c) Parts arrived, d) Others.Update regularly the job progress status and place cartops on vehicle status. Monitor WIP and Carry-overs on a daily basis.Record Technician time-in (start time) and time-out (finished time).Coordinate to Service Manager, and Key personnel the status of the entire workshop load such as: - Waiting for Parts - Partsman, - Waiting for Customer approval - Service Advisor, ongoing / Carrover Job - Shop Supervisor and Foremen, - TSB’s and FSA - Shop Supervisor, Leadman / Foreman and Warranty Processor.Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Required Skill(s): automotive
