Safety first! You will provide primary care services to the site and co-ordinate and manage the site health program, including safety inspections, ergonomics training and ergonomics assessments, to drive a reduction in work and non work related injuries. You will as well undertake management of  testing programs required by local legislation

How you will contribute

You will: 

Lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help commercial functions achieve Zero accidents and Incidents while ensuring that Incident Reporting and Notification process is fully in place and all functions are aware of the processBe responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes in IBS, Sales, and Sucat commercial OfficeSupport country SSMT coordinator in times of special situation such as pandemic, typhoon, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc. to ensure updated information is provided to all relevant personnel and there is a feedback system in place to check status of all employeesSupport capability building in commercial teams in Driver Safety, Emergency Management, RCA, and Risk Assessment through trainings and refresher programs in coordination with HR, Sales, and external vendors to provide trainingIntegrate training programs for commercial functions such as first aid, fire brigade training, and driver safetyLead HSE projects and change management activities specific to commercial functions that will build awareness in HSE and ensure HSE is integrated at the planning stage of all projects and activitiesParticipate in investigations in HSE related incidents to facilitate closure of identified non-conformances with each commercial functionEnsure localized procedure is in place for applicable standards to Sales, Office, and R&D Pilot plant and build capability within teams with roadmap to ensure team readiness for HSE Standard OwnershipMaintain an up-to-date incident reporting system, assist with investigating incidents in conjunction with the Sales safety committee and drive the completion of corrective actions to eliminate root causes/reoccurrenceLead sustainability agenda in commercial functions with alignment from CGA on sustainability frameworkSupport HR and cross functional teams in health programs and awareness campaigns

What you will bring

Should be a Graduate in Science or EngineeringMinimum 5 - 8 years of experience in Manufacturing/ Industrial safety. Out of which 3 years should be in a managerial roleDemonstrated planning and administrative skills coaching and development skillHSE leadership experience in a commercial environmentExperience in developing and implementing integrated management systems for Safety &/or EnvironmentKnowledge of current HSE issues, methodologies, and practicesShould possess a strong working knowledge of HSE processes including HIRAC, Root Cause Analysis, Behavior based Safety, Ergonomics, Design Safety Reviews, permit to work, Contractor safety management etc.
