Job Description

Qualifications:

Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science or any related fieldAt least Five (5) years work experience in a mining firm; orAt least Two (2) year experience in evaluating, processing technical data, or conducting reviews, audits pertaining to mining and environment permits, Environment Management System or experience in conducting Systems Audit, Process Audit, and alike. Experience in the review of any reassessment and or revision of permit requirements.Have general knowledge about Mining, Safety, Environment, Management Systems, Auditing, Legal and Regulatory compliances especially Safety, Health, and Environment.Trainings on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 is an advantage.Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.   

Role Purpose:

Effectively manage, process and monitor all regulatory permits, reports, and regulatory required by site operations as required by related Law. Trigger responsible departments on the needed regulatory reports, compliances to permits and permit conditions as well as the timelines in order for the departments to prepare and submit the details/reports for permitting and compliance requirements. Establish and maintain a database of compliance for proper documentation and archiving. Leads in coordinating/informing concern department/s on the related results of the Regulatory Bodies’ validation for information and for any action to comply. Leads in the implementation of the EMS and conducts trainings, orientation, or presentation with respect to Mining and Environmental Laws, EMS, Compliance Orientation, and Site Wide document Control.

Key Duties/Tasks:

Supervise the Compliance Officers and lead the team during the field break or unavailability of the Compliance Supervisor.Conduct due diligence on the permits needed by the Company. The review or audit includes permit terms and conditions and expiration dates.Implement, maintain, and improve the compliance database system for monitoring, accounting, auditing, updating all permits, conditions, compliances, and timelines.Closely coordinate with all concerned departments whenever needed in relation to permits, regulatory requirements and other compliances.Closely coordinate with regulatory bodies on matters pertaining to compliances.Provide leadership to the team in achieving the Department goal by guaranteeing the company complies with related outside regulatory requirements; and, internal policies and procedures.Leads in performing proactively auditing processes and practices based on the established company policies and procedures.Responsible on the Site Wide document Control.Conduct induction to new employees regarding ISO awareness and other compliances.Actively contribute to site safety policy and new initiatives and implement change based on reviews, audits, or compliance concerns, as well as new regulations.

FCF Minerals Corporation (FCF) was incorporated in the Philippines and was duly registered with the Philippine SEC on December 3, 2001 to engage in continuing exploration, development and commercial operation of mineral claims with full power and authority to do any and all acts, things, business and activities which are related, incidental or conducive directly or indirectly to the attainment of the foregoing objectives as a mining company. In 2009, the Company converted its exploration permit into a Financial or Technical Assistance Agreement (FTAA) with the Philippine Government. This agreement covers an initial terms of twenty five (25) years and renewable for another twenty five (25) years thereafter. Under the FTAA, the Company was granted the exclusive rights to explore, mine, utilize, process, refine, market, transport, export and dispose of minerals and mineral products and by-products that may be derived or produced from the contract area containing 3,093 hectares located in Barangay Runruno, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. The FTAA was registered with the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) on October 28, 2009.
