Roles and Responsibilities
o Head of the quality organization.
o Implement best practice for quality vision, strategy, policies and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
o Lead and manage the quality function from new product introduction until product end-of-life including warranty analysis to ensure a proactive culture so that customers receive the product to the highest standard of quality possible.
o Implement quality and reliability standards by studying industry benchmarks and the requirements of customers and research/design and development, and define the metrics required to assess performance against standards required.
o Owns Quality Management System and train team members where required
o Provide leadership to quality organization. Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.
o Present the Quality KPI to customers during Operations, Business and Quality reviews
o Drive continuous improvement program for quality.
o Review all changes such as but not limited to process change, tool parameter change, tool hardware change, tool software change, product life cycle change, specs change, etc.
