about the Role 

Leads a team responsible for maintenance and support of existing data & analytics products. Coaches and develops team members to deliver high performance.

Leads the Product Maintenance Team, accountable for working collectively and collaboratively with other team members to guide them on the maintenance and support of existing dashboards and analytics products Understands and applies new reporting & analytics products as they become available and are aligned to overall data and visualisation strategy, directing the decommission of redundant or duplicated productsLeads the ongoing insight analytics product management, business intelligence and product lifecycle management associated with data and analytical assetsUses, stores, classifies, assesses and processes data/metadata in alignment with BHPs standards and requirements for data quality management, integrity and governance.Defines and structures business problems to understand what can be addressed using analytics, designs analytics solutions and accesses and cleans data to prepare it for the analysis process. Identifies and assesses risks, making risk informed decisions, using BHP's risk management framework and building a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes Coaches individuals and teams in the maintenance and support of data and visualisation productsEngages with a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders as part of delivering the above accountabilities Applies an understanding of the business context and ways of working to contribute to the team’s overall outcome and performanceManages and monitors performance of the Data Product & Run team including development of performance targetsProactively engages with customers and business stakeholders for the continuous improvement and life cycle management of productsDefines and determines criteria for managing the health of the product solutionDetermines and schedules delivery and maintenance activities across the Product & Run teamIdentifies and manages blockers and performance gaps to support the planned execution by the Product & Run team 

about You

Undergraduate degree in business, analytics, statistics, data science or other relevant business degree Experience leading product maintenance and supportExperience delivering large scale projects - on time and to budget Experience in benefit realisation management Experience in business/value case developmentHave experience with or exposure to key data analytical tools and techniquesExperience with or exposure to managing senior stakeholders 

Good to haves:

Knowledge in emerging technology solutions Additional studies in relevant field or industry
