We are hiring a Indirect Tax Governance and Data Integrity Manager for an Australian tax firm. The job is permanent work from home and the contract is freelance and the work schedule is during the day with flexibility in hours. The successful candidate should have experience in international tax laws and governance especially Australian tax.
Job Description:
• evaluation of indirect tax governance frameworks and controls
• End to end testing of design and operating effectiveness of controls and report preparation
• Supporting clients with measures to improve indirect tax control frameworks
• Assist with Indirect Tax projects
• Assist in the identification, validation and confirmation of indirect tax recoveries
• Present findings to clients
• Liaise with clients to help expedite data preparation and collation
• Review and reconcile client data to source and tax reported to the ATO
• Key point of contact for BTG’s data team and help identify and realise data-driven operational efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as required.
Requirements• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance
• CPA/CA qualification
• 7+ years’ experience in audit or tax governance with a Chartered/CPA firm or MNE
• Experience with Australian tax
