Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Controller.

The Maintenance Controller is reporting under the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Controller is responsible in ensuring accuracy and inventory of spare parts from material delivery, receipt, warehousing and release. On top of this, the Maintenance Controller is responsible for sourcing for, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

Maintain and control inventory of maintenance spare parts, from material requisition, supplier & vendor coordination up until delivery and warehousing; and ensure enrolment of all materials, except raw & packaging materials, in SAP;Coordinate and conduct sourcing of suppliers and vendors, aligned with Procurement & Purchasing requirements;Prepare and review maintenance spare parts, services, and factory supplies reports, focusing on determining re-ordering points, minimizing non-moving inventories, and optimizing inventory costs;Coordinate with involved departments on requisition and releasing of needed spare parts and suppliers; and closely coordinate with the Maintenance Planner in ensuring availability of all materials & services as specified in the PM Plan;Align with the implementation of policies and standards related but not limited to EHS Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC; and as in the case may be, form part of the Internal Audit team and ensure compliance on, established management systems mentioned; andRepresent the organization, as needed, in functional congregations, especially in liaising with Corporate Maintenance Group, and other Maintenance Controllers from different URC BCFG Plants;Perform other tasks and functions as may be delegated by the Immediate Superior.

What are the Qualifications?

Graduate of any engineering degree, preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; license and/or certification is an advantage;With at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in maintenance operations, and exposure in food & beverage manufacturing industry;With aptitude in implementing relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC;With prominent communication skills, keen to details, and organized record-keeping skills; andWith proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum), and SAP; andHas a team-player, customer-centric, and innovative work attitude.
