JOB SUMMARY
The position provides technical and strategic support to the Head of the Department in carrying out the environmental objectives of the Company by examining, standardizing, and harmonizing the methodologies and design of the modular environmental programs, and evaluating the results of implementation of the said programs and initiatives across the organization
To ensure and maintain the full compliance of the Company with applicable environmental, legal and other requirements; conformance with contractual and financial obligations and commitments, and fulfilling with expectations of the Company’s stakeholders. The programs further align the company’s environmental policy and protocols with tangible measures that address the operational needs of project sites, facilities operations and maintenance, and manage the relevant environmental risks associated with the company’s operations.
Lastly, these programs and initiatives shall be guided by the principle of Sustainable Development to achieve continual improvement in the overall environmental performance of the Company, while maintaining adequate protection of the environment in sites where the Company operates. The responsibility is conducted within the limits of national legal requirements, Company policies and guidelines, loans and covenants and related international environmental conventions.
