The Sr. Building Engineer shall perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities pertaining to the strategic and operational management of all the company’s buildings and facilities in order to ensure the proper and efficient operation of all its physical aspects and for the creation and sustenance of a safe and productive work environment.
The duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Ensure the delivery of services to operate and maintain company properties including any designated financial, technical, maintenance and procurement tasks.Manage facility operations : electrical, engineering, plumbing, air-conditioning, safety and security, equipment, housekeeping, administration and finance.Ensure that all facilities meet proper government regulations on business, environmental, health and security standards.Planning and overseeing building work and renovation.Manage cleanliness and upkeep of all building facilities and premises.Initiate quality improvement programs to improve facilities.Establish efficient problem reporting, escalations and complaint managementPrepare an annual and mo
nthly Predictive and Preventive schedule for all facilities including financial details and analysis.Plan and prepare mo
nthly reports required for maintaining office infrastructure and facilities.Assist the department in project management and cost optimizatio
nNegotiate co
ntractor and service quotatio
nsEnsure proper records are maintained of all projectsProvides support for DENR compliance of the company and its affiliates
To be considered for this position, candidate must meet the following qualifications:
Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical EngineeringLicensed Mechanical Engineer or Electrical EngineerHighly knowledgeable in construction, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, genset, elevator and telephone system maintenance and installation.With supervisory experience for at least 2 years in a corporate building and facilities administration setting.Team player with good communication and feedback skillsPro-active attitude and co
