Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the review of contractor’s drawings, method statements and test procedures to ensure compliance to requirements and project specifications.Monitor and coordinate control & instrumentation activities, including evaluation of construction methodology being implemented for the works.Prepares inspection reports and evaluates the results of quality tests conducted for each equipment, structure or system.Monitor and review actual project progress and accomplishments. If delays are observed, recommend catch-up scheme to ensure project schedules are met.evaluates acceptability of the installations in reference to the design criteria.Perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance to project specifications and issue non-conformance reports as necessary.Coordinates and interface with other discipline or work stream to ensure appropriate planning and scheduling of works and resources.If necessary, attend regular meetings (ie daily, weekly, and monthly) to coordinate and resolve project issues.Monitor and ensures compliance of all contractors’ personnel to safety policies and procedures, environmental guidelines and security regulations.Conduct inspections to verify outstanding works or deliverables to the contractor for inclusion in the punchlist.Reviews and checks manuals, red-line drawings and As-built drawings submitted by the Contractors.
