Job Description
SUMMARY OF ROLE The role will be responsible for supporting payroll processing and reporting for the Operations and Maintenance business, in coordination with third-party payroll outsource providers. Payroll processing support duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings and company deductions. Payroll reporting duties include, but are not limited to, preparing statistical reports on team member pay, commissions and bonuses, vacation, sick pay, disability and workers compensation leave, and taxes and withholdings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Review and approve payroll calculations and deductions conducted by third-party payroll outsource providers. • Proactively maintain employee records with third-party payroll outsource providers including, but not limited to current employee database, salary/wage data, stipends, benefits deductions, garnishments, and any other mandatory deductions • Proactively prevent and resolve payroll issues, coordinating with team members and third-party payroll outsource providers, and escalating to leadership where necessary. • Balance and reconcile payroll accounts on a periodic basis. • Prepare and audit periodic payroll reporting including team member pay, commissions and bonuses, vacation, sick pay, disability and workers compensation leave, and taxes and withholdings • Prepare ad hoc payroll reporting at the request of Operations and Maintenance leadership. • Provide backup support and assistance with special payroll projects and other HR/payroll related projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Minimum requirements • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with passion for data integrity, process definition, and continuous learning. • Strong verbal and written communication skills: concise, articulate, and confident • Drives results and is solution oriented. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity with a high degree of professionalism in all aspects of job responsibilities. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to proactively handle issues. Other pertinent Information • This is an FTE position • Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines • Applicants must be willing to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region • Applicants must be willing to render overtime as business requires • Tool of Trade: Laptop/Desktop, Extended Monitor, Headset (as needed) Work Environment • Fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment • Willing to work in a night shift schedule • Willing to work in Alabang, MuntinlupaEqual Employment Opportunity It is NovaSource Power Services’ policy to provide equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees.
