Metrics, Reporting and Analytics
Report Scoping and Planning
● Updates internal trackers and databases to ensure that all candidate application and employment related
movements in the department are recorded.
● Coordinates and validates with upper management on reporting requirements.
Data Gathering
● Familairizes with process workflow under investigation to be able to identify at relevant process steps the type of
output data to become collected.
● Extracts/generates quantitative and qualitative information from a single or multiple tools.
● Gathers and collects data from different sources based on approved requirements.
● Communicates with resource persons to get input/raw data needed for report generation.
● Extracts/generates quantitative and qualitative information from databases using standard queries.
● Performs data validation to achieve data consistency.
Data Manipulation
● Cleans extracted data using pre-defined guidelines or instructions.
● Formats extracted data based on expected report output from sources with batching capability or multiple data
formatting requirements.
● Consolidates and standardizes data structure from different data sources.
● Combines extracted data from multiple resources using automated tools (excel, macro, database).
● Categorizes and segments extracted data using tools to convert data to information relevant to the report (excel,
macro, database).
● Calculates data using available fields within the gathered information.
Data Analysis
● Gathers and analyzes report requirements from the management.
● Identifies and provides solution to general inquiries by recommending action/s base from their analysis.
● Analyzes gathered information & data using descriptive analytics (basic mathematics & comparative analysis).
Reporting
● Provides status updates on report development.
● Raises issues encountered and adjusts timeline as appropriate.
● Creates reports based on standard templates.
● Generate, analyze, create reports/dashboard from different sources and submit to the requestor.
● Interprets and summarizes findings for further discussion with the management.
Project Support
Continuous Process Improvement & Innovation
● Identifies continuous improvement project ideas.
● Project Initiation
● Attends scope reviews to learn what the project request is all about.
Project Planning
● Encodes documentation using standard project templates.
● Stores and organizes the documents to the team repository.
● Provides own work estimates and can negotiate turnaround time within the team.
● Informs the project lead on changes.
Project Execution
● Follows set standards and guidelines of the team.
● Reports own progress back to the project tracker.
● Participates in cross-functional testing and peer reviews.
