PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Assist the MMI Engineer Lead in mo
nitoring all the co
ncerns regarding the Maintenance, Material Inspection at the site.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

nducts safety walka
bouts and audits and ensures that site works are implemented in a safely manner and in accordance with approved safety practices. Reports any identified unsafe practices.Lead co
ntractors in field co
nstruction activities with high safety standards; ensure all co
nstruction activities are comply to authorities, industrial and company HSE standards and requirements.Ensures that the correct material specifications and procedures are adhered in reference to the agreed engineering standards and design and engineering practice in full coordination with the Shell engineering discipline and co
ntractor counterparts.Review contractor’s Method statement, ITP’s and Procedure.Review and ensures that PEFS, Isometrics, equipment mechanical data sheets and other engineering drawing and docu
ments raised in JDMS are all in accordance with the approved standards and engineering practices.Review BOQ’s and BOM’s and ensure that materials are in accordance with required material specs and quantities.Review deviations and other changes in engineering drawings and coordinates with co
ntractor counterparts to fully align with the requirements. Review technical queries/change requests arising during field implementation/construction.Witness and review all project-related NDT as defined in ITP, checks the hydrostatic test packages and witness shop and field pressure test for piping and static equipment.Co
nducts field checks/site surveys and ensures that implementation is in accordance to approved plans and drawings.Recommends appropriate corrective measures timely to get the job done productively and efficiently. Mo

ntractors progress during execution and ensures that required NDT is done ensuring quality is not compromised and are implemented ba
sed on approved ITP.Lead material receiving inspection including arranging of PMI, Selec
tion of welds for non-destructive testing,Review all related NDE results/reports.Prepares and submit weekly progress reports.Raise Non-Co
nformance Report as deemed necessary.Perform other activities related to your role and ad hoc task that may require from time to time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Knowledge: The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
• Safety Practices and Procedures – Knowledge/Skill
• Piping Plans and Drawings such as PEFS, PFS, and Isometrics – Skill/Mastery
• Basic NDE Applications and Practices – Knowledge/Skill
• Piping/Piping Components and other material Specifications – Knowledge/Skill
• Fabrication and Field Construction – Knowledge/Skill
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Computer literate familiar with various Project Management and engineering software/tools
• Familiarity with project management, flowcharts, technical documentation, etc.

· High Command over Standards and scope related to Inspection and Maintenance
· Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
