Facilities Engineer analyze material and labor costs, set procedures and standards, review construction bids, and responsible for overall facilities operations. Works both offices and work sites, depending on the nature of the projects. The role includes monitoring alarms and creating reports on the systems function. Carry out routine maintenance on breakdowns and repairs. Manage workload and prioritize job request. Supervise deliveries of technical and maintenance supplies.ResponsibilitiesManages the facilities staff to deliver expected service levels to the client within the prescribed budget.Coordinates work assignments among building technicians, vendors and contractors. Monitor and reviews facilities related tracker including backlogged work orders to ensure that activities are completed.Reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services and labor for projectsDevelop and prepare the 52-week planner and ensure adherence to the maintenance plan.Provide and maintain management and delivery framework for a secure and maintained working environment delivering maximum uptime and service levels to the business.Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems;Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs;Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations;Monitor and supervise HVAC preventive Maintenance contracts;Respond to operational emergencies;Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken;Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems;Comply with all safety procedures and requirements;Maintain compliance to Local and National ordinances and codes;Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required;Attend training sessions and seminars; andOther task that can be assign related to Facilities Department concern.Key Areas of Skills and ExperienceDegree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experienceCertified Pollution Control Officer - PCOAt least 4 years of experience in BPO industry handling similar responsibility is requiredProfessional certification in area of expertise (ie Certified Facility Professional, Project Management Professional) or equivalentIn-depth knowledge of building systems and controls including HVAC, UPS, PACU, Genset, Chillers, Fire Protection, Elevators, etc. including business-critical data center infrastructureKnowledge in industry standards (i.e. PCI, HIPAA, ISO or BI) is highly preferredConfidently represent the company in managing external resources such as government agencies (PEZA, LGU, etc.) and client auditors.Capability to work with AUTOCAD and similar design software is highly preferredStrong ability to adapt to a changing, high-pressure business environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills across all mediumsStrong computer skills to include working knowledge of MS Office and PowerPointPersonal QualitiesExcellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.Ability to managed and lead a team.Ability to negotiate on both an intellectual and relationship basis.Ability to prioritize in a fast paced and ambiguous environmentHighly self-motivated towards achieving cost efficiencies and corporate goalsA strong leader, but also a team player with the ability to act on own initiative and work well under pressure.Ability to work with the minimum supervision while feeding back proactively all key issues and sharing information with peers.Someone who positively enjoys working with others and in a team environment where each member actively seeks to contribute positively even in areas outside their particular responsibility.Must have the courage of their convictions and be prepared to educate stakeholders.
