We are starting a new team to support the development and deployment of high speed (>20Gb/s) mixed-signal semiconductor devices for the devices that Connect, Manage, and Secure the world’s information in leading Cloud Providers’ Hyperscale Data Centers using state-of-the art automated test equipment and dedicated test hardware.

Our new team will be based in our Philippine Technical Center (PTC) facility in Alabang, Muntinlupa. PTC has a dedicated development lab. It is also connected to a network of labs and test facilities that provides the ability for the engineers to use testers remotely located in other facilities of the company.

We are looking for a Principal/Senior Test Engineer to join this new team in PTC.

As a Principal/Senior Test Engineer, you will be joining a team which is focused on working with state-of-the-art technologies to develop ATE test programs to ensure timely delivery of products to customer while maintaining high quality and yields. You will be working with design teams to define and develop test methods optimized for test cost and test coverage. You will also be working with engineers in Asia for new product introduction and production support.

Responsibilities:

Develop Final test (FT) and Wafer Probe (CP) test program on the 93k ATE platform.Perform ATE characterization across split lotsTest code writing, timing/vector conversion, & loadboard/probe card designSupport production lot disposition & low yield analysis/debug.Support Ops team on NPI startup and HVM deployment activity.Recommend and Implement Test Program Changes as determined by MRB and internal engineering review.Reduce the cost by improving yields and reducing test time.Plan and implement characterization tests on new high-speed (>20GHz) and mixed-signal semiconductor devices using state-of-the art test equipment and dedicated test hardware. These characterization tests will quantify the performance of our cutting edge mixed-signal IP over operating conditions and manufacturing variances.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Job Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering major in Microelectronics. Master’s degree in the same field is an advantageMinimum of 8-10 years working experience in product or test engineering with at least 8 years direct experience in semiconductor ATE testingExperience with Advantest 93k ATE (preferred) or other similar ATE platforms such as Teradyne/Credence/LTX.Good understanding of semiconductor test methodologiesExcellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issuesProven ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsStrong scripting and programming skills. Experience using C, C++, Tcl, Perl or Python is an added advantageKnowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuitsDemonstrated ability to meet schedules
