Job Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and co
ntrol all electrical and instrumentation engineering templates. Adheres to Group quality directives and input and suggests improvements wher
e relevant. Adheres to the company’s policy ensuring as much project scope as possible is kept within the Group. Coordinates with supply chain to ensure accurate and competitive material is quoted during tender phase and sourced during the project phase. Ensures robust and efficient design and sizing of systems sold. Ensures all the work tasks follow the requirements in the QMS system. Lead and supervise E&IC work on bidding and project phase. Prepares design for electrical, control, and instrumentation during basic and detailed engineering stage. Prepare technical reviews for all E&IC drawings, datasheets, docu
ments, lists, and calculations. Works closely with other engineering teams to ensure support is provided, e.g., work with the Proposal/Design team for all Electrical and Co
ntrol systems cost estimates for Tenders. e
valuates RFQ received from clients. Prepares RFQ and e
valuates returned quotations from vendors. Prepares E&IC engineering designs and cost estimations from tendering stage to the commissio
ning stage. Carries out troubleshooting whenever needed. Ensures all tender/ bidding cost activities, budget, and firm quote comply with client specifications. Liaises with procurement, fabrication, and project department in order to have a more competitive and precise design and costing. Maintains effective communication with all internal and external relevant disciplines. Attend regular meetings with clients from time to time subject to the project location. Carries out and ensures a good filing system for electro
nic and hard copy docu
ments and is easily retrievable. Performs relevant tasks assigned by Superior from time to time
Job Requirements
Registered Electrical Engineer or relevant Engineering degree. Willing to work on-site and travel 2-3 years of Relevant work experience, preferably in the Water Industry, Power, or Construction.
